The Polar Bear's "Top Tips" - Derby Day

Great days racing (obviously).  Some really tough races with multiple chances.  I have cleverly narrowed the fields down to three races.

Race 1, small field, Meethaq is honest and was unlucky last time at Flemington, track wont have cut up so should still be good to run in behind the heaverly favored Galah.  Meethaq = place $1.28.  

Race 2 - Showcause, I have been following this horse for the last six months, this is grand final day.  4th in the Geelong Cup against quality opposition that are now favored for Tuesday.  Would prefer this to be 3200 but beggers cant be choosers.  Slow track form not great, but he outstays these.  Good place odds = $4.80

Race 3 - Dowager Queen- Get your house out and put it on Dowager Queen for a place.  The rain just helps.  I know Atlantic Jewel is a potential superstar but DQ has fewer ???? $1.40.   

Parlay - Race 1 #4 Meethaq Place $1.28, Race 2 #10 Showcause Place $4.80, Race 3 #4 Dowager Queen Place $1.40

All other races are either too short or too many chances.  If you must bet, Wall Street is super in the wet and super on Cox Plate Day = place @ $3.20.
